Junee Chocolate and Liquorice factory

As they say the best laid plans can go awry!

I left home on the Tuesday instead of Monday and was actually early this time.  shock!

Missed the turn off for Junee and ended going down this dirt road, honestly google maps is a problem at times.  So, driving down this dirt road that was a bit slippery -more like clay than dirt- I come up to a sign "cows crossing" fair enough it is a country road, but the cows are just wandering as if it was part of their paddock.  One just stood there and looked at me from the middle of a bridge I had to cross, eventually 5 minutes later it decided to move.  off I went again and then 10 minutes later encounter another herd of cows just plodding along the road, not a care in the world.  I so wish I had the thought to photo both groups.

Junee Chocolate factory did not disappoint lovely old building with wood fires burning, chocolate making and 3 little shops.  Chocolate, lemon butter all neatly packed into the van now.  Yummo

Decided to head onto Echuca today instead of staying at the showground, still needing that little bit more security of a night.  I will get there eventually and be able to stay at showgrounds and free camps by myself but not just yet.

This is sheep county so many sheep and so many tiny lambs.

Saw some amazing art along the way the Kangaroo and Emu in someone's paddock, the horse and carriage was near the sign for Lockhart

Crossed over into Victoria at 7pm.
