The Paddle steamer Canberra was originally built in 1912 to be used as a single deck fishing boat. Over the years it has been sold to a few people and has spent most of its working life as a tourist boat. 3 refits have seen 2 new engines, it is currently powered by a 1923 wood-fired Marshall compound steam engine, a second deck was added in 1945 to provide more seating. The Canberra has been taking tourist up and down the Murray River since 1966. The biggest claim to fame for the Canberra is that it is the oldest Paddle steamer in the fleet.

Yes, that's me wearing a beanie, told you it was cold. Loved playing with the steering wheel. You could feel it sort of grab when the boat was going the right direction.
